Presenting my very first arrangement for solo flute!
A brilliant, successful, inspiring Black woman wrote this lost gem in 1955. The melodies came to her while on a walk in the French Alps near Geneva, Switzerland. “It is descriptive in an abstract manner of the region. I made no effort to describe the scenery. The ideas just came to me and that’s what I jotted down.”
I created this for my students, but I hope it is helpful to others as well!
